Shorty's is much better
The staff wasn't very friendly and they weren't helpful at all. The plants were mostly all over watered and it didn't seem like they really knew that much about the plants. They must make their money off of the bulk rock sales because I can't imagine them doing well on the plant side. I would definitely recommend Shorty's over these guys in a heart beat!

Guess I'll never know
It sounds like they are a good place but couldn't get them to answer the phone to find out what their hours of operation are!! I suppose I can drive by sometime and see if they are open.

No customer service
This is my first review and I am making it because I used to think this nursery was one of the better ones, but my last few visits the customer service has been lacking and the plant quality is not always up to par. So I guess it was a collision course waiting to happen. Tuesday July 3, 2007, the time 4:45pm (Open till 6:00) we went to get a load of gravel for a project we were working on for the 4th. Unfortunately our crystal ball was broken or we would have known that just because a store is open it doesn't mean it's employees want to sell you anything. We needed one scoop of rock, but for a store more interested in play than work we were turned away with the cheery request to come back on Thursday. Fortunately for us there are rock and nursery supply stores that do want to provide customer service, we got our rock from somewhere else and at 5:30 mind you, luckily someone knew that the 3rd of July is not a holiday. Obviously we won't be shopping there again. It just confirms that getting bigger doesn't mean getting better.

Great Landscape Yard by Sheri C. at InsiderPages
This is a wonderful plant and garden shop. They have a very large selection of outdoor plants of all sizes. It is laid out well and easy to find the type of plant you want. If you are not sure what best suits your yard, the staff is knowledgable and able to help you make a selection. The building is new and they carry a small variety of gift items. There is an on-site florists if you need to order a fresh bouquet.

Great selection, nice facility by Roxanne P. at InsiderPages
We enjoy garden shopping here. There is always a great selection.

We also like the special events they do for the kids to get involved (bulb planting in fall, etc.). The prices are moderate (some more expensive, some less).

They also have a large indoor plant selection. The difficulty is finding your way in because of how the roads are worked in that area. But once you know how to get there, it's worth the trip.

They also have a guarantee on a number of their plants (especially the larger ones). We appreciate that though we've yet to have something die on us that we've purchased there.
