Value Motel in Northeast Hazel Dell - Starcrest is a DUMP! I am NOT a picky person and I can sleep just about anywhere, but this place was a nightmare! We were there no more than 10 minute and demanded a refund and left. There was pubic hair in the bath tub (a lot of it), the carpets were soiled and the room smelled like death. The straw that broke the camel's back wasn't the fact that the bed sheets were DIRTY, but the fact that there was a used prophylactic in the trash can along with fast food wrappers was a deal breaker. This place needs to be shut down! I am quite certain they rent out rooms hourly. We left and went to a REAL motel! It was $55 for a private room ($30 to share a bathroom with a neighbor). If you think about going here, get back on the 5 north and go to the Shilo Inn where the rooms are clean....or sleep in your car!! It only got a 1 star rating because a rating is required.

Being right off the freeway is a ok place for the truckers to go to get a shower. This place is dirty and I do not recommend that anyone stay there. The staff is rude and just as dirty as their rooms.

IF YOU ENJOY TRYING TO IDENTIFY BAD ODORS,SCRATCH FLEA BITES,WATCH METH FREAKS STROLL THE PARKING LOT,BATHE IN MOLDY BATHROOMS,RUIN YOUR CLEAN SOCKS ON PET URINE SMELLING CARPET,TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT PART OF THE BODY SOME MYSTERY FLUID CLUMP CAME OUT OF,PICK NASTY HAIRS OFF OF THE BEDDING,SLEEP ON USED AND NOT WASHED BED SHEETS...THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! NEVER HAVE I SEEN A MORE ATROCIOUS LODGING PLACE.IT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN, BUT THEN THE ''INSECTS'' WOULD BE HOMELESS.
NO STARS FOR THIS NASTY HOVEL.
