Dr Nathalie Johnson was our shining light in probably the darkest time in our lives, my wife was diagnose with breast cancer in May 2009, we had a surgeon before we went to see Dr Johnson, my wife commented to one of her friends that she didn’t like her surgeon because she failed to explain what was happening to her, her friend mention that she had a customer that praised about a doctor she give her all the information we needed, we did set up an appointment with Dr. Johnson, from the moment we got to her office to today we have to praise her. She is an amazing person and most definitely the best surgeon.

I am unsure as to why the previous person gave such bad reviews. Dr. Johnson must have done something right for them to choose her as a surgeon then show up for post-op appointments. I am a patient of Dr. Johnson and i want to thank her for all that she's done for me and my family!! Highly recommend nathalie and her partners for any surgical consult.

She was Mayor Katz' surgeon! Yes, I know. I have seen her multiple times, in office and pre-op and post-op and outside office. She is very busy, she was flip when I felt most vulnerable, she made me a promise (she shouldn't have) and broke it. She made me feel discounted. She rushes. Her assistant made a nearly catastrophic mistake in a post-op visit; I was lucky to emerge intact. Dr. Johnson is the go-to person for mammary surgery in this town. She is scholarly, respected, beautiful, and extensively trained. There are people who would nominate her for sainthood. But she is not for me.

I like her husband, though.

I don't understand why the one reviewer was so negative about Surgical Associates. I was diagnosed in April 2007 with Breast Cancer and within two weeks I knew that I would have to have a double mastectomy at age 44! Dr. Nathalie Johnson and her staff help me navigate through this nightmare and I don't know what I would have done without Winnie and Margie! They made sure I had adiquate insurance and all my questions answered. They held my hand through the whole process when I was a total and complete mess. I don't know that I could have faced the months and years ahead if I didn't have their support at the begining of this process!! These are the type of people that make the world a little better by just doing their job and then some.

My wife was tremendously impressed with Dr. Nathalie Johnson.

So much so, that when the need arose for my own surgical care, Dr. J was the first surgeon I consulted. She is a member of one of the premier surgical groups in Portland, and "Spinach's" comments are the first negative ones that I have heard.

My wife was orginally referred to Nathalie Johnson by a naturopathic physician, and I think that adds an additional dimension to her credentials.
