This coffee shop is one of my favorites in Portland! The interior is comfortable and welcoming, and the baristas are very friendly. The food is good- bagel sandwiches are quite nice! The coffee is good, and the drinks are great. It's not too loud in here, either- a good place to work!

This is a great place for lattes, mochas, blended iced coffee, bagels (they use Gabriel's), and sandwiches (both deli and "panini" style). The service can be a tad slow, and I don't personally recommend the pastries, but this is a great "plug in and surf" type of wifi laptop coffeehouse. They also sell used records. They play fairly loud music, ranging from alternative to reggae to whatever, and unless your tastes are equally eclectic you may want headphones. Occasionally they also have live music which is generally quite good, if unbilled.

I personally come for the espresso drinks and the free wifi, they pull excellent shots (particularly Chris) and use Stumptown espresso. Good for breakfast, lunch, coffee, or tea.
