I love the puppies! by Amber R. at InsiderPages

The puppies at Scamps Pets are expensive but cute. All the animals are expensive but the fish. I got 6 goldfish for 12 dollars. It was preety cool. This is a really great place and i go there almost every month. I do not think it stinks the employees DO care about the pets and they are great.

very expensive by Denise E. at InsiderPages

We were very please with our purchase of our dog, Barney. He is now 10 years old. However, he was very expensive and we were told he was a mix between a chihuahua and beagle. He is NO WHERE near either of those breeds. They told us he'd be about 12lbs at adulthood and he now weighs 35lbs. Puppies sold here are overpriced and you are taking your chances if you think you're getting the bread you are tol you are. I wouldn't trade my dog for anything, but I wont buy another dog from Scamps. PROS: Large selection CONS: overpriced for what you get

Should stop selling animals by Ad A. at InsiderPages
I come to the Cedar Hills Mall often and Scamp is a horrible place. Sometimes I try to avoid even looking at it but my child loves to stare at the puppies. Sometimes I feel I'm going to cry to see those pups seating in their feces, so bored, so SAD. Purchasing puppies from these places just encourage the owners to sell more puppies. Any responsible dog/cat owner KNOWS those little cages are SO INHUMANE, that place really makes me sick.

Maltese?? owner in Beaverton by Sandy M. at InsiderPages
I'm a little confused about something. There are so many reviews condemning Scamps for the Puppy Mill puppies. I got a Maltese pup, bought at Scamps, for Christmas in 2006. He was healthy and is my Sweet Baby Boy. However he is 15 pounds which to anyone who knows the breed usually indicates he has been cross bred with a Bichon Freis. We paid for a pure bred Maltese and were told he was registered with AKC. We have never received his papers applied for within a month of getting him. My confusion comes in when all these people very adamantly say Don't buy from Scamps! What about those poor, sweet animals. Don't they deserve a home and love? I know it is a quandry. I know it is taking a chance on getting a sick or misrepresented animal, but what about their chance at a happy life. If someone can answer my questions, I would appreciate it.

Scamps supports puppy mills! by libby j. at InsiderPages
I purchased a puppy from SCAMPS five years ago. He was flea infested/kennel coughing and was within his first yr diagnosed with auto immune disease. He requires steroids daily to stay alive--nice, eh? I was told he was from Minnesota. What was an 8 week old puppy from minnesota doing in Oregon anyways? Pretty depressing to think of a puppy making a big-rig journey all the way here. Also, he has a severe reaction to a crate or any kennel situation bc of this traumatic early exposure. Come to find out through me contacting the US Dept of Agriculture, who tracked down his puppy mill breeder, that he was in fact from Oklahoma. Nice, more lies SCAMPS. There is nothing kind about their business model. They are rotten to the core. Get out of the puppy mill business, SCAMPS!

Dear Mr. Steve M. by Rebecca W. at InsiderPages
I love you. You have been saying everything that has been going through my head for a long time. I just wanted to say more power to you. And there is a lot of people who are like us, in believe Scamps is a wonderful place.. not evil like others have put it. And we like to go and play with all the puppies too. I myself have adopted three wonder puppies. And my daughter has adopted two. We love our dogs and would not give them up for the world. So I just want to say thank you Scamps. We love you.
