Tarah Pond from Re Max Equity Group was the seller agent for the apartment we rented. We asked her several times to give us 24h notice when she wants to show the apartment. She still asked to show the apartment on shorter notice once, and we told her again to respect the law and give us 24h notice. We also proposed different showing times in two other occasions. During the last week of our tenancy, she left a message on our answering machine that another agent will be showing the house in 2h. When telling her that this isn't legal and she could be sued, she said that it was a misunderstanding and she had told us that someone will show the house during the week. I understand it can be difficult to try to sell an apartment when the tenant still lives there. The tenant has no incentive for getting it sold as soon as possible. But there are rules, and while we were playing by those rules, she has been stretching them more than what I expect from a professional realtor.
