The best Performance Bike store in town
I've bought stuff at all the Performance Bike store's in Portand, Tigard, and Beaverton - this store has the most knowledgeable and engaging staff. The Beaverton store is pretty lazy, Tigard is quiet, but the Mall 205 store is outwardly helpful. Thanks!
I've bought a bunch of parts and even took my rim/tire there when I butchered it, trying to get the tire off. They have been friendly, courteous and knowledgeable every time. I was so delighted with the help I got with my tinkering projects that I ended up buying a bike from them and plan on going back when my wife is ready for one.
Not sure why so many folks have issues shopping @ this store location. I've been to RiverCity and had to wait just as long. BikenHike (portland store only) was rude since my bike wasn't top of the line. Bike shops are busy @ times and they don't staff full time people just be cashiers. Remember this. I've not had issues buying items or getting my bike repaired at this location. The staff has been always friendly to me. In fact they bent over backwards once to accommodate me before a big ride I had coming up on the weekend. The front-end staff is knowledgeable to a certain extent but if you have bike repair questions, talk to the techs in the back who work on the stuff daily.
I had the chance to check out the store and wasn't Wallymarted by the staff the moment I stepped in. Once I found shoes area, I was approached by a staff member ans asked if I needed any help. The staff helped me find the shoes I was looking for and gave helpful advise on fitting. Thanks,
