I really love these guys, even though I am quite weary of vets/doctors/mechanics etc... I've been to some vets that don't really seem to care about you or your pet. After visiting vets in many cities, I have to say that Pearl Animal Hospital is the most trustworthy. They defintiley saved our little pup's life! She had a rare and serious bacteria infection and the staff and vets all stayed late and put in extra time and effort to find a cure. They worked with us and consulted with us on treatments and the plan during the difficult time, and our pup has been in excellent health since. They really do care about their clients and patients.

After coming here, I can say they are best, kindest, and most generous vets in Portland.

My cat has become somewhat of a regular due to an emergency stomach surgery a few months back. After some great results and a really positive follow-up, I've seen nothing but kindness and professionalism from all of staff members here. They are very thorough with our furry family member and we feel extremely-well cared for.

I took my 4 year old Lhasa here to have a routine check and vaccines updated, I was amazed at the staff and how courteous and knowledgeable they are. Cheryl, the Client Rep was wonderful with my dog, who is people shy, and loved on her like she was her own and even gave us a tour of the facility. The experience there was so personable and couldn't have asked for a better vet in Dr. Anders. She knew so much; and gave lots of tips on making sure Peanut is Happy and Healthy I was amazed in her knowledge. Other vets pale in comparison. I have recommended them to everyone I know that is unhappy with their current vets. The experience didn't end at the visit, a few days later I got a card in the mail Welcoming Peanut to the Pearl Family. Couldnt have asked for a more thoughtful staff!!‎

We had to amke the horrible descision to put our kitty down. It was very hard on our family but the staff and Dr. Anders were so over the top helpful. They had set up a room for our kitty to be put down in with a candle and a bed for our kitty. The left us alone till we were ready, and mind you this is late at night and we never felt rushed at all. It made the very sad expierence so much better with the support of the truly caring staff. Wonderful people wonderful business.‎

We have taken our three cats to Pearl Animal Hospital for over a year now. Our oldest cat was very ill and having multiple problems. The vet and the staff have always been amazing and made a very difficult situation easier with support and guidance. They went above and beyond to help with our cat's passing. We have continued to use Pearl as our vet for our two adopted cats and whole heartedly recommend Pearl Animal Hospital for all your animals needs. In twenty years of working with vets I have never been treated with so much kindness, compassion and competence.‎
