Koipod has a beautiful, friendly atmosphere. Easily located between 34th & 35th st and Belmont, I had no trouble finding a place to park. Daniella gave me a brand new styling do, my color is amazing! I strongly recomend this salon, stylist like Daniella are hard to come by.

I have never really been able to get a nice clean blonde before, but Daniella made it happen. It is beautiful all the way to the end of it, no weird gradual change of color (but I bet she could do that if you were into it). So next time you want to make a drastic change, touch up those roots, or enrich your base color ask for Daniella. Not to mention she just came from Toni & Guy and has sweet skills.

Kahala cut my hair and he did a great job. He gave me something different from other stylists I have tried. It was trendy and stylish and suitable for any professional work place. I prefer to have the stylists have their own input in my hair on what would look best on me. SOmetimes I'm too lazy to style my hair and also even after a couple of months it still looked lovely! Its like he understood my hair well enough that my hair can style itself. The staff is also very nice, and offered me beverages as I waited for my turn. The interior of the salon has a trendy contemporary design to it. Definitely try it out!

I have always just gotten haircuts until I went into see Lindsay at Koi Pod. She sculpted my hair! Everyone comments on how I never seem to have a bad hair day and that is always looks good. The training the stylists at Koi Pod have is amazing to me. I felt like I got pampered by the great staff and the price was reasonable. Sent 4 or 5 friends there as well and they all love Koi Pod. If you need a place to go...try this place first!

I was at my wits end when I found Joseph and Veronica. My hair had been used and abused, even worse- I wanted to be blond. Not easy when you were black - then burgundy - then brown with a natural color like dark mud. Veronica did my color and only one work comes to mind... miracle! It was natural-looking and stayed strong. Joseph did my cut and it was perfect. PERFECT. I have never had so much fun getting my hair done. I had no anxiety about what was going on because of a really great consultation first. The price was reasonable and the whole salon staff seemed to be having a great time. I will definately be going back.
