Terrible customer service, and they are liars
Was quoted over the phone a price for a power steering-rack replacement and .. I asked specifically if this quote was just parts or if it was parts and labor (was told parts AND labor), then when I showed up to drop car off to be repaired, I was told that quote couldn't be right, it sounded low, and he's sure that parts alone would cost $1,500. I was then told I couldn't get an actual quote until they looked at it first to see what the situation was... I told them that I didn't need them to look at it to tell me it needed to be replaced, I knew that it needed to be replaced and that was all I wanted them to do... so don't waste labor "assessing" the situation... anyway the story could be much longer, there was a lot more involved in the encounter, but to sum it up they were extremely rude and pushy, I left close to tears and will NEVER go there again

Jim Fisher Volvo by Donald L. at InsiderPages
The car buying experience was very good. I didn't feel the pressure and sales tactics that you usually get from most dealers. The service is top notch, you get the sense the professionals working on your car are exceptional. The one thing that I found most irritating was my designated service rep in the service department. Everytime I would bring my car in for an oil change, he would hammer me on all the additional preventive maitenance I needed otherwise I'd be doing a huge disservice to my car. Well, at $400 a whack it gets a little annoying.

the service department is disorganized and extremely low on the customer service side. the people i talked to in the service department not helpful at all. i made an appointment a week ahead so that i could plan my time and take the morning off to get the car serviced. when i call that morning before going in i was told that my appointment was not on the books. the person whom i talked to was unwilling to help with the situation and passed me on to the voice mail where i left a detailed message. i never received a call back. the arrangement i made to take the morning off completely waisted. i am now looking for another volvo dealership that will take the time to get it right!

Worst Service across 3 states
I have brought my Volvo into the dealership three times and all three times have been a disaster. The service department support was horrible, the rep rude and the service not completed correctly. I have had problems with the car since they performed work on the vehicle. This last visit was scheduled 2 weeks in advance, I had to drive from Seattle down to Portland to meet the 7:45am appt. only to be told they made a mistake in the schedule and did not have my appt. noted. I could leave the car and they might be able to get to it. The service was made to reset my emergency air bag (SRS) and takes approx. 20 min. to reset on their computer. I have been to multiple dealerships in CA, WA, and OR, but this has been the worst in customer support and service.

Service Department is Awful
I have a 2001 S60 volvo that I love. I am ready to buy another volvo but would not because of the Jim fFsher service department. I work downtown and it is near my office and very convenient. My car has has some minor and major repairs and each time I take it to their service department I feel as though I am getting completely fleeced. My service person is unfriendly and really uninterested in my satisfaction of service. I recently had a side view mirror replaced and 3 months later the outer plate that encases it fell off. Of course it was my fault, since I took my car through the car wash, even though the original one that was not replaced by Jim Fisher amazingly is still there. My husband and I are shopping for cars and were intending on a volvo SUV, but I would not go near Jim Fisher and have to deal with the attitude and bad service of their service department.
