Excellent Customer Service
I bought a new Mazda Speed3 for my son in January 2009 which was a very positive sales experience. A problem just recently developed with second gear when downshifting after 4,700 miles so I just took in for service. Mazda corporate required an inspection report on the vehicle for transmission issues due to the low miles prior to approving to treat as a warranty item. It was noticed that there was much more than average wear on the front tires. Mazda corporate ended up denying to perform the transmission work as a warranty item claiming the vehicle was subject to much more than average driving. This was my first Mazda vehicle and needless to say I was very angy. Chris Savage, the Asst Service Mgr was extremely helpful in fighting this position. Tom Herzog, the General Mgr also did not hestitate to get involved and collectively they got Mazda corporate to change their decision and is now doing this tranmssion work under warranty. This dealership really went to bat for us and came through with this first class customer service.
Will definately buy from them again..

The typical sales people by Susan S. at InsiderPages
Oh boy, these salesmen were just like the ones you hear about that are VERY pushy. I've gone there twice and both times been unhappy with the salesmen. I even told the second one that I was reluctant to come back because of the first one. The service department, however, is incredible. They are very prompt and call at regular intervals to give you an update on the progress of your repairs. My advice; Buy your car somewhere else but have it serviced at Herzog Meier.
