We have dealt with The Hawthorne Auto Clinic for years. They do excellent work and their employees are extremely skilled and knowledgeable. They have always dealt with us with great integrity. What a surprise in the world of car repairs!!

The people are very friendly and I've always had great service there. Also, they have some women on staff and do a good job of making women who come in feel comfortable. If you are looking for a trustworthy place to take your car - this is the place.

I took my Ford Taurus to the Hawthorne Auto Clinic a few years back. Before I was finished describing the problem, they had a diagnosis and a reasonable estimate. The lent me a pager (I don't have a cell phone) so they could let me know when it was done and gave me some bus tickets so I could get to work and back. They fixed it promptly and charged exactly what they said they would. I don't know if they're the rock-bottom cheapest, but if it means I don't have to worry about something going awry, that's fine by me.

I had a very poor experience at this shop when I brought my car in. I waited over a year to left feedback on their website expressing my discontent. The owner emailed me back immediately, apologized for the experience and refunded my money. I took this as a genuine sign of business integrity.

Though my intial contact with this company was poor, based on their response to my complaint, I would return.
