I was in search of a stylist that could transform my "Hagrid" long bushy hair into a short youthful do. Diane was recommended for the job by a freind who's hair that I admire has been in Diane's profressional hands for years. I was delighted with Diane's confidence performing this transformation, and left completely pleased, with a bounce in my step, looking forward to our next session.

We had a girls day out, me and my 10 year old daughter went to Halo salon for a new look. We walked in this cool and comfortable salon and were off offered coffee, tea or anything else to drink. Being from the world of retail merchandising, the hair products (which I love) were displayed beautifully. Dianne met us with a great smile and made us laugh our whole stay. She gave us both the BEST haircut we have ever had. Thanks Dianne, can't wait for our next girls day out!

Morekka does a fantastic job with both cut and color. I have been coming to morekka for years, and have never been disappointed. I would reccomend her to anyone, and have sent all my best girlfriends and coworkers to her. You can trust her with whatever look you are going for and she'll make sure you look your best!

I went to to see Marika, after reading positive reviews here. I brought a photo of a wanted haircut. I told her what I wanted done with the color. She acted like it was all going to happen. Well I ended up with a terrible haircut and color that could have come out of a RiteAid bottle.
I had to get my hair recut immediately or wear a hat for 2 months, and after spending 135 on both here I had to go spend another 100 somewhere else to get the color fixed. Truly unbelievable. She has no eye and no craft.

Sydney is the world?s greatest hairdresser!
I originally went to Sydney simply to have my long locks cut of to be donated to ?Locks of Love?. However I loved my new short hairstyle so much I made follow up appointments. Years later I have followed Sydney from her previous salon to Halo and been a client of hers for what seems like forever.
My hair his thick, course and naturally curly and she seems to really ?know? my hair as I have never had a cut that I have not liked. I have referred 2 people to Sydney who have also become faithful clients.
I can never move away from Portland (neither can Sydney) b/c finding a stylist that you love and trust is nearly impossible.
