I LOVE MY HAIR. Greg you are the BEST. Thank you so much for my WARM blonde color and style. My sister loves her hair to. She will drive to Portland from Canada no problem for her next appointment.

Margarita is a genius with hair color
I have been going to Margarita for years at the other salon she worked at previously, and she has now moved to G Best Salon. She always does an awesome job on my hair. We always have a great consultation about how I wanted it colored (more highlights, lowlights or lighten/darken the base color). She always has great ideas and makes sure to make me look my best. She is available after work which makes seeing her plauseable during the work week. She is funny and entergetic and makes the trip to the salon fun and fabulous.

Disappointing results
My daughter had her hair done by Greg. We were all very disappointed with the results. The color was awful, her roots were still very obvious. Apparently Greg spends so much time flirting with his assistants that he neglects his clients. Now we have to get her hair fixed at another salon, for $170, this is a crime.

Reminds me of Warren Beatty in Shampoo
That was the sense I had about the owner, Greg. As someone else noted, he spent a lot of time flirting and chatting with his assistants and not a whole lot of time focused on me, the customer. Also took about a minute for him to acknowledge me after I first walked in. Not impressive. However, I he does seem to know color well, what would work well on you based on your skintone and such. My hair color looked very nice and natural when he was done. And the stylist who cut my hair did a good job. Their prices are a bit high for me, but comparable to a lot of other salons. But for the price, I would expect better customer service.

DONT GO HERE
Greg would not give me the color I wanted-- he is completely arrogant and he does not spend much time on his clients. During my color process, Greg was so distracted flirting with his assistant (who cut my hair) that he managed to drip 3 spots of BLEACH on my face, and he didn't even notice!! Normally I don't mind spending $150+ on my cut and color because I leave the salon feeling refreshed and beautiful, but honestly I have never been so disappointed post-cut/color. Greg does not listen to what his clients want, and he rushes through the process so much so that the results show his lack of concern. Greg suggested to his assistant that I spend 5 minutes under the dryer w/ the aluminum in my hair, and after about 4 minutes he looked at my hair and literally said that's close enough and sent me on my way for a wash. The stylist that cut my hair did not listen to my desires, nor did she even use any product when styling my hair.

Overall, I've never been so disappointed in a cut and color. I don't recommend this salon to anyone.
