close-in location by Rika W. at InsiderPages
I've been here a few times but never for golfing. Attended my high school reunion here many years ago and will be hosting my daughter's auction here in less than 3 wks. They have a nice little restaurant, bar, and even a couple of coin slot machines. As far as event hosting, these guys are professional and helpful. They even made a donation to my daughter's school auction! And gave us great rates for room rental.

A must play for Oregon Golfers...
Eastmoreland is one of the great Portland area courses, if you haven't played there yet, you need to. For how cheap it is, it's always in good shape, and it's tricky enough to be a challenge for players of any handicap. Is this course on the level of a Pumpkin-Ridge or Langdon Farms... no, of course not... but it is non-the-less a historic Portland track that you should definetely play. And any golf enthusiasts interested in witnessing a massecre can come out this Sunday (May 18th) to watch me pummel my friend and long time golf-nemesis Marc "Porkchop" P. there in a high-stakes, high level match!

Great back nine. Slow play here.
Great visual experience if you don?t play the front 9 boring. The back 9 is beautiful with good golf holes. Nice water holes and course was in good condition. The starter had the personality of a dead tree and made me feel I was bothering him. Can be really busy and slow but I do well playing there around 1pm. Don?t even bother late afternoon as people get off work and pack the place.

With all my negativity the back 9 is a must play.

Slow, poor upkeep, did I mention slow?
Had a pretty poor experience there. Slowest round of golf I've played in some time (almost 6 hours!). No course marshalls anywhere to keep up pace. There was a fivesome ahead of us...Are we in Mississippi?

The only yardage markers were the 150 stakes, some tee boxes had no signs to indicate distance or hole location.

Greens and fairways were only in so-so condition. Front nine had a rather uninspired design. Back nine a little better.

Very challenging layout.

NO WAY this course is better than Langdon Farms...
