I was so diappointed in the service at Davis Street Tavern. We waited over an hour just to get bread on the table then almost 2 hours to get our dinner and then 1 person did not even get their dinner because it was "overcooked". We made reservation in advance, and when I spoke to the manager to complain about how long everything was taking he just said they were busy. It was Saturday night! They should be prepared to be busy! He did give us 1 free drink- BIG DEAL! Especially when our bill was over $250. When we did get the food it was good, it just was frustrating that the service was so poor!‎

I go to Davis Street Tavern not only for the ambiance, but also because it has the best chicken with mac and cheese dish I've ever had. It is called "Seared Chicken Breast" on the menu. Also, whatever type of salt they put in the butter they serve with the bread is amazing. A must go to!‎

Excellent food, beautiful space, amazing service and reasonable prices. What more do you need in a restaurant? I'm almost afraid to give such a glowing review because it will get too crowded and hip and I won't be able to get a table! ...

Our dining group went last Saturday. Definitely not your typical "tavern" and no burger on menu (I'm veggie anyway). Nice that they have a reasonably priced 3-course fixed price menu, but I ordered off menu since I didn't like the choices on ...

Loved the eclectic flavors - the coconut milk & lemongrass mussels, the fish tacos, hangar steak frites. Great beer and wine choices, too. Friendly staff, and right on the new green light rail line. Jackpot!
