If you love piano
When I walked through the door, it was obvious, they love pianos.

Chris was our salesman, there was no pressure and he patiently let us look at every piano. Chris would point out the differences and play some songs to emphasis it.

We came with 5 children, which in itself can be difficult, but Chris entertained them. At some point we are going to upgrade our new Yamaha GC1 (baby grand). I know where we will be shopping.

Made good on warranty
As a follow up to my earler report, Classic piano has reconsidered and has authorized a free tuning in accordance with my purchase back in 2005.

In light of this decision, I can now recommend them to anyone considering purchasing a piano. They did the right thing! I appreciate it!

Quality service. by carol w. at InsiderPages
This place has been around for awhile and the staff really know their pianos. The service was great when they worked on my piano and they answered a lot of questions concerning other instruments in the shop. When it comes time to upgrade I will come here.

Trustworthy
I have to admit that I was very anxious about shopping for a piano; from prior experience in other cities, I knew it could be even more tricky than shopping for a used car! There were always pushy/sleazy salesmen and limited, overpriced stock. Bleargh. So when it came time to buy a piano here in PDX I really took my time, checking out many shops over several months. In the end, it was no contest. We liked Classic Piano best. Why? Well, (1) The salespeople are laidback, and yet are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. It was clear that they loved the pianos as much as we do. (2) We also loved the fact that they offer 100% trade in value--so you can buy a starter piano now and then trade it in for full value later when it's time for the Steinway C! (3) We felt the prices were good. We would definitely recommend Classic Piano to anyone!
