Great Place, but I think they're CLOSED
My wife and I used to go there semi-regularly. Unfortunately, I think they're closed - had a sale to get rid of everything not too long ago. My wife especially liked Matt (I think that's his name) and his foot massages. If anyone knows where he went, please let us know!

Best place for a foot massage
Chinoise is a slice of Shangri-la here in Portland. The atmosphere and service are top notch with a variety of services to pamper your every need. The best is after a long day on your feet, be it shopping or work, to relax with an authentic Chinese foot soak and reflexology massage. To top it off the chair and table massages are divine with qualified massage therapists. They also offer acupuncture to balance out the inner you. Chinoise is definitely a spa to go here in Portland.

Amazing foot massage..
I got a gift certificate to Chinoise and was glad I used it towards a foot massage! It was amazing and the therapist was able to tell me which point corresponds to which organ in my body. I read the review below and to the contrary, I found Chinoise to be very accommodating and attentive. I went last Sunday and it was pretty busy. I love this place and will make regular visits now that I found a great therapist! Thank you!

We Got Bumped, Bad Ethics
My wife and I checked out this place at Christmas. Walking down 23rd we saw the sign and went in. My wife was pregnant so I decide to splurge and get her a foot massage. The owner told us that she had time in 30 minutes to see us both and handed us the menu. We looked it over and booked our spot. We came back 15 minutes earlier and she told us we could only have a very short treatment not the longer one we booked. She rushed us in early. We filled out the paperwork stating my wife was pregnant but they missed that and we had to tell the therapist not to go in too deep. Half way through our treatment we saw a couple come in for a top of the line treatment. They thanked her for taking them on such short notice. Basically we got bumped. The owner played it off like they had been booked in all along.

Excellent place for group parties!
I went here in October of 2008 to celebrate my friends' birthdays and the people at Chinoise were great! We had a party of five and so they gave us a 20% discount =) The person who took my phone call was awesome. My friends and I drove from out of town to come here and we were late about half and hour, but they were okay with it. They catered us with food from nearby restaurants Typhoon and Papa Haydn, which was very convenient. My friends and I received 23rd avenue foot massages and head and shoulder massages, which felt great! Couldn't ask for a better place to have a girl's night out. Trust me, you will get your money's worth here. The environment was very relaxing and welcoming! 5 out of 5 stars!!!
