Professional, honest, affordable!
My Toyota Sequoia needed new tires as well as a complete service. I decided to go to Bridgetown Tire & Automotive because it was highly recommended by a friend of mine. I paid a portion of what other places quoted me! The service was excellent and the staff is friendly and professional. Another bonus is that it's conveniently located in the heart of Portland. I encourage everyone out there who needs work done on their car to go to Bridgetown Tire & Automotive. Bridgetown has definitely earned my business!

Few things are as valuable as a good mechanic
I followed the mechanics here from Northwest Car Care when it shut down, so I've been taking my car to them for several years. A couple of the repairs that I've gotten were questionable (back from the Northwest Car care days) but I have a very old car that needs a lot of TLC, so that's just a drop in the bucket from the many, many times my car has been in during its restoration. What really makes me appreciate these guys is that in my many misguided attempts to find I new mechanic (because Bridgetown is pretty far from my house), they have saved me THOUSANDS of dollars. Every time I've gone somewhere else for a major repair I've gotten quoted enough to make my head spin. Then I take it back to Bridgetown for a second opinion and they fix whatever's wrong for maybe a couple hundred bucks. They're honest, competent, and reliable. You really can't ask for much more than that!

Great Customer Service!
I have been taking all my vehicles to Bridgetown Automotive for the past 4 years and have had nothing but superb service. They make it easy to do business with, the bill is always what they qoute me, never more, sometimes even less. I have also received their referral 10% discount (all my friends love Bridgetown too). They are very honest and accomodating and have even gone as far as delivering my car back to me. I won't take my cars anywhere else.

half-assed and no clue
They did less than half the work I asked them to, couldn't get parts for my car, messed up some parts on the car, and let me drive away with only 3 lug nuts on one wheel! Bad communication, don't listen, and expensive for what they did. Not going here again. Also, boss hasn't called me back as lackey said he would. Obviously they don't care about my business and don't pay attention to details, including safety issues. On the upside, they did get my car in quick. But then they couldn't get parts for it so it sat for days while parts I ordered were delivered. I found out about the missing lug nut and damaged stud when I went to get a tire, and Bridgetown had even messed up another stud, so I had to leave my car at the tire shop overnight and take the bus across town.

Honest, reliable service
I brought my Jetta in to get a check engine light diagnosed so I could get it through DEQ. It took them a little longer than expected to figure out the problem since it was a fairly uncommon one but they did figure it out and got it taken care of for a very fair price. They let me know what other issues the car had and didn't try to pressure me into having them fix them. Will definitely go to these guys in the future.
